About Us

Our District is comprised of four bargaining units representing over 1000 members.

The Teachers' Bargaining Unit (TBU) represents over 500 members that work in the Lakehead District School Board's four high schools, eight alternative education sites and nine continuing adult education sites.

The Educational Assistants' Bargaining Unit (EA) represents over 300 members that work in the Lakehead District School Board's public elementary and secondary schools.

The Student Support Professionals Bargaining Unit (SSP) represents over 200 members that work in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board's elementary, senior elementary and secondary schools.

The Early Childhood Educators' Bargaining Unit (ECE) represents approximately 30 members that work in the Lakehead District School Board's Public Elementary schools.
